"Humboldt in Mexico, the vision of the explorer" is a feature film that portrays through the journals of Alexander Von Humboldt, the natural and human wealth found in Mexico, leaving for posterity a vast scientific and anthropological investigation, the culture and civilization that he observed in New Spain in 1803. It’s not a biographical documentary, but a "road movie" that follows the steps of Humboldt in his expedition through New Spain.

The main character of the documentary, known as the Baron of Humboldt, was born in Berlin, Germany, on September 14, 1769. His studies are still a reference in the field of geography, mining, geology, orography, botany, anthropology, archeology, navigation, zoology, cartography, mathematics and many other disciplines and sciences.

During the featuring we’ll have the special intervention of Director and Producer Ana Cruz, who is also director of the documentaries Mujeres de la Revolución Mexicana (2010) and Las Sufragistas, (2012).
