Southwest Remembered: A Story of Urban Renewal

This award-winning documentary examines the history of Southwest D.C. and how urban renewal changed the area forever. Several interviews in the film feature former Southwest residents sharing their views about the city's decision to redevelop. A post-film discussion will be facilitated by playwright Nicole J. Burton, (Swimming Up the Sun, Fred and Frieda; Last Call at the Marble Bar, Starman, Wish Me Luck).
