host a red (blue & gold) carpet premiere, complete with “paparazzi!” Parents,
friends and family are welcome to attend.

Topics covered are:

DIRECTING: As the director is the leader of a film set, students will learn the language and practice of filmmaking so that they can apply this knowledge to their own original films. Directing is approached as the art of visual storytelling.

WRITING: Students learn the process of taking take a story from initial idea to a finished script for their film with the help of our exceptional faculty.

WORKING WITH ACTORS

HANDS-ON CAMERA AND LIGHTING: This summer academy places students behind a camera from day one. Students will learn to shoot using industry-standard cameras.
