Event description

Description

Veteran of the stage and screen, G-Su Paek, is offering a 4 week workshop focused on teaching improvisers the fundamentals of acting for film and stage.

Have you ever dreamt about auditioning for a role in a movie, commercial, or play?

Maybe you watched someone perform and said to yourself "I wish I could do that!"?

In this 4 week course you'll work on developing your film and stage presence so you can go out and nail your next audition.

Learn to posture yourself for a better audition experience.

Explore how you naturally present to the camera and stage.

Better understand the differences in technique between acting for film vs acting on-stage.

This class meets weekly for 4 weeks on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30pm starting June 6th.

This class is limited to 12 students, so reserve your spot now!

About The Instructor: G-Su Paek is a longtime improv veteran and has performed at hundreds of venues and a handful of festivals across the country. He is also an accomplished actor, comedian, and one of the founders of Hot Pot Comedy, Austin's first and only all Asian-American sketch troupe. You can find G-Su performing and teaching improv mainly at the Fallout Theater in Austin, Texas or simply follow the sounds of poorly done karaoke to find him anywhere else.
