Event Information
Description
Café Terrace, 1st Floor
Calling all foodies! Whet your palate before the screening of In Search of Israeli Cuisine with a tasting prepared by two award-winning chefs. Michael Solomonov (James Beard Award–winner and co-owner of Zahav) and the Brooklyn Museum's very own Saul Bolton (chef and owner of Michelin-starred Saul Restaurant) team up to share an inspiring taste of modern Israeli cuisine. The tasting includes a custom menu paired with Israeli wine, beer, and limonata.
The menu includes eleven small-plate dishes including grilled marinated eggplant with fenugreek tomato chutney; chicken pastilla with cinnamon and almonds; and quinoa, pea, and mint tabbouleh, all complimented by Israeli wine, beer, and limonata.
Tickets are $44, which includes Museum admission and preferred seating for the film screening and $68 with a copy of Solomonov's Zahav: A World of Israeli Cooking. Members can email us for a discount code.
