Event description

Description

Exploring the complexities and contradictions of gentrification, this insightful documentary is a heartbreaking vision of the history of housing discrimination in Portland, Oregon (one of the nation’s "whitest" cities), and the personal impact this factor has had on community residents. Matt Birkhold of Visionary Organizing Lab will lead the post film discussion.

The film is a sequel to the 2002 documentary NorthEast Passage: The Inner City and the American Dream.
