Film Acting for Kids and Young Teens
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
Hey Young Actors and Actresses!
Ever wonder why acting in front of the camera looks so easy for other kids and teens? Because it is!
The secret to having great moments on camera is to learn to be yourself and to stop worrying about your character's back-story or making choices. All that stuff gets in the way of listening to your scene partner and "being" in the moment.
Take this class and you'll learn an amazing technique for learning lines quickly, a stress-free way to audition, and the one simple little secret that every Hollywood actor knows. The class teaches actors how to "be in the moment" and to trust that amazing things will happen once the camera starts rolling. Class includes lots of on-camera work, too!
The Film Acting for Kids and Young Teens class meets the first four Sundays of every month from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and is designed for actors from age 8 to 14 (older kids should join our all ages class).
This class will change the way you think about acting in front of the camera and the way you watch movies. Mostly, it will prepare you to be on set when you get your big chance. It is that awesome. Really!
