1:30 p.m.: Showing of A Man for All Seasons

3:30 p.m.: Refreshments

4:00 p.m.: Lecture by Dr. Bryan Berry (with Q&A): “Lord Chancellor Thomas More: Defending the Catholic Faith against Heresies”


About the Speaker

Bryan Berry, Ph.D. has written extensively on religious controversies. He is currently finishing a book, Priests, Poets, and Kings: Thomas More, Religious Controversies, and the Rise of Modern Secularism, planned for publication in 2017.

Dr. Berry has taught literature, writing, and journalism at several universities, including the University of California (Davis), Wheeling Jesuit University, and the University of St. Francis (Joliet, Illinois).


About the Event

Admission is free. However, registration is required because seating is limited.

Parking is available at the Shrine and on Harewood Rd. The closest metro stop is Brookland-CUA.
