Fine tune your figurative drawing and painting skills, or learn new skills from scratch, in this new monthly meet-up with artist, Georgesse Gomez! The Figurative Drawing and Painting Workshop is a 3-hour class that meets from 8:30-11:30 am on the 2nd Saturday of the month at ARTspace in downtown Hollister. Students will work from a live model at their own pace and in their medium of choice (pencil, charcoal, oils or acryllics). Georgesse Gomez, an impressive representational painter whose meditative brush strokes attract collectors worldwide, has been recognized in regional and national juried competitions. She has exhibited at San Francisco’s de Young Museum, Mountainsong Galleries, Carmel, CA and Dunnegan Gallery of Fine Art, MO. Georgesse studies under living masters who play a prominent role in the Contemporary Realism movement.
