Description

At the outbreak of World War II, many African Americans rushed to enlist. They were determined to fight to preserve the freedom they themselves had been denied. Fighting for the Right to Fight: African American Experiences in WWII, a special exhibit from the National World War II Museum hosted at the Dallas Holocaust Museum, tells their story.

Please join us at the Dallas Holocaust Museum for a 2-hours educator workshop on Fighting on the Right to Fight led by an educator from the National World War II Museum. Educators who are not able to join in person can also opt for a 1 hour online resource session provided through Zoommeeting.

Schedule:

4:00 p.m.: Resources for teaching Fighting for the Right to Fight (online option available)*

5:00 p.m.: Tour of special exhibit led by educator of National WWII Museum

*Educators opting for the online session will be send a Zoommeeting link to join the online session. A computer with online access will be needed to join.
