This year our symposium features keynote speakers Jane MacMaster and Dr Kay Colthorpe who will inspire innovation in your teaching.

Jane MacMaster runs Ponder Enterprises, an organisation that builds complex problem solving capabilities. She has worked as a senior adviser in strategic policy unit of the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, as an aerospace systems design engineer for a global aerospace company, and as a management consultant in the financial services sector.

Dr Kay Colthorpe is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, Teaching Focused Senior Lecturer in the School of Biomedical Science at the University of Queensland and the recipient of UQ's award for Teaching Excellence.

Their presentations and workshops will address the development of complex problem solving and self-regulated learning - skill sets your students need to meet the challenges of the 21st century.
