Time: 8:30 a.m.
Location: Meet at Polaris Career Center, 7285 Old Oak Blvd, Middleburg Heights, OH 44130 Map

Target Species: Shorebirds and Confusing Fall Warblers

Description: Fowles Marsh is part of the Lake Abram wetlands in Middleburg Heights. It is part of the Rocky River Important Bird Area and is accessible via the Cleveland Metroparks Lake-to-Lake trail. Bridges and a paved trail make easy walking. A variety of habitats allows for shorebirds as well as songbirds and raptors. We will meet at the north end of the parking lot of Polaris Career Center, 7285 Old Oak Blvd., Middleburg Hts., OH 44130.

This area is rich in birds, but under-reported in eBird, so we will certainly be eager to enter the results of this field trip.

Directions: From I-71, take the Bagley Road exit west, toward Berea. You will see Southwest General Hospital. Immediately past the hospital, Turn left onto Old Oak Blvd. Follow Old Oak to Polaris Career Center on the left. If you reach LifeWorks on the right, you have gone too far.
