Event description

Description

Get an in-depth look at how fibers are processed, from raw fleece to yarn. You’ll learn how to process wool and other fibers to use in handcrafts like weaving, knitting, crocheting, and felting. Learn techniques and get hands on experience for washing, skirting, combing, carding, and spinning wool. You’ll take home the fiber you processed, blended and spun! A suggested prerequisite for this class is Drop Spinning.

Instructor: Victoria Tecken owns a fiber arts business with her best friend and has been a fiber addict for more than a decade! She is a spinner, crocheter, cat wrangler, writer, speaker, music enthusiast, professional diaper changer, and nature lover. She spent most of her teen years growing up on a small hobby farm raising alpacas and riding her two horses without a saddle
