Come check out the new FHIR API with one of the world experts on the new standard; see what's currently possible to build in the coming world of EMR APIs, and help influence where they go.
Levin Brown is a MD/MPH candidate studying Health Policy and Management at Harvard School of Public Health.
Josh Mandel is a physician and software engineer with a special interest in building tools that support app developers new to the health domain. After earning an S.B. in computer science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an M.D. at the Tufts University School of Medicine, he joined the faculty of the Children’s Hospital Informatics Program and Harvard Medical School, where he serves as lead architect for the SMART Platforms team. With SMART, he’s helping to foster an ecosystem of “substitutable” medical applications that can run in multiple EMRs, PHRs, and data mining platforms.
