Event description

Description

***Please note location & date change of this hike. A fire started at Eagle Creek on September 2 & it is unclear when the fire will be contained & the trail will be open again.

Falls Creek Falls, in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest in Washington, is a magnificent 335 feet tall. The hike goes through 30-60 year old forest & over a cable suspension bridge.

The Hike: 3.4 mile round trip hike with 700 feet elevation gain. No one is too slow to hike with us. No hikers left behind! As always, we will go at a pace that feels good for all. After the hike, we'll hit up a local spot for food/drink.

Getting There: Falls Creek Falls Trailhead is about 1 hour & 30 minutes from Portland. GPS is a reliable source to get you to the trailhead. A Northwest Forest Pass or $5 day use pass is required to park at the trailhead.

What to Bring/Wear: workout clothes, rain gear, hiking boots or sneakers, backpack, water, snacks and camera. If you plan to join us for food/drink after the hike, bring some cash along. For more information, check out Hiking 101 on the website.
