Immigration issues continue to be debated in Tallahassee and Washington, D.C., and the landscape is changing for agricultural employers. This Florida Fruit & Vegetable Association meeting will bring together FFVA members and other industry professionals throughout the state for an open forum.
Guest speaker David Stefany of the law firm Allen, Norton and Blue will discuss labor-related issues that affect agriculture. Topics will include:
• I-9 audits
• Social Security no-match letters
• Updates on new federal legislation
The meetings are complimentary, and lunch is provided. Advance registration is required so we can have an accurate headcount for meal arrangements. Please contact FFVA at (321) 214-5200 for more details or if you have questions.
