Description

The FFRFMCC is pleased to announce our 2016 Winter Solstice party, as we celebrate the astronomical New Year and the TRUE reason for the season!

The fun and merriment will again take place at Chief O'Neill's Pub & Restaurant in Chicago for their INCREDIBLE Sunday brunch -- an all-you-can-eat buffet including a vast assortment of both breakfast and lunch delights, including a made-to-order omelet station, soup, salads, calamari, smoked salmon, fried fish, chicken, corned beef hash, scrambled eggs, french toast, waffles, sausage and bacon, side dishes galore and a mouth-watering dessert table with two (yes two!!) chocolate fountains for dipping!

The cost for this event is $25.00 per person This includes food, tax & gratuity. Note: All drinks must be purchased separately.

In addition to our celebration of the Winter Solstice, we will be assisting those in need by collecting holiday "wish list" items for Connections for Abused Women and their Children. The mission of CAWC is to end domestic violence through an empowerment approach, and to provide shelter for abused women and their children. We would like to ask our guests to bring any of the following items if they are able:

  • Board games, Lego sets, craft sets, educational workbooks (math, reading, writing),

  • Toiletries (body wash, shampoo/conditioner, hand sanitizer, toothpaste & brushes, deodorant, make-up kits, laundry detergent)

  • Infant Care (diapers up to size 6, baby wipes and baby wash)

Reservations for this event are required and space is limited so get your tickets now! The RSVP deadline is Friday, December 16th.

Hope to see you there!
