Hudda Ibrahim, an author of “From Somalia to Snow: How Central Minnesota Became Home,” and the founder/ president of Filsan Consultant LLC, a company founded on the principles of cultural integration and a faculty member at St. Cloud Technical and Community College where she teaches Diversity and Social Justice. Her book will help Central Minnesota build a stronger, more inclusive community in which we all can flourish. In recognition of her leadership, Hudda has received numerous awards. Among these awards include the recent 5 under 40 Award, St. Cloud Times’ 2016 Difference Maker, Partners in Education District 742 Award for Take Ten project and the Women's Group project and Somali American National Institute’s award for “Community Champion.” Hudda is a community bridge builder, a mentor, a proponent of women’s empowerment, a peace activist, an aspiring entrepreneur, and a source of inspiration to students. Hudda as well received Initiative Foundation’s two Year Initiators Fellows.

Join us for pre-program networking beginning at 11:00 to 11:30 AM, and if you're a new member, we will be holding a New Member Orientation from 11:00 - 11:15 AM prior to our scheduled programming.
