Festive Fridays: Family Fun Friday - Downtown Columbia - DECEMBER 16

Note: with the construction of the new medical office building next to Downtown Columbia's Whole Foods location, recommended parking for Festive Fridays is the 'Old Copeland's Parking Garage' located at the intersection of Little Patuxent Parkway and Wincopin Circle. The top level of the garage is accessed from Little Patuxent Parkway and the lower level from Wincopin Circle. Please refrain from parking in front of Whole Foods, reserving those parking spaces for their customers.

The Downtown Columbia Partnership and the Columbia Association are excited to bring their annual family-themed Festive Fridays back to the Downtown Columbia Lakefront in 2022. For two Fridays in December (December 9th and December 16), visit the Lakefront to enjoy music, activities, delicious snacks and drinks and great local entertainment.

Firepits located throughout the plaza will keep visitors warm, and S’mores kits will be available for purchase to prepare over the open flame. Enjoy hot cider, hot chocolate and warm cinnamon rolls, along with fresh popcorn and cotton candy.

Watch ice sculptures, capture a memory at the holiday-themed photobooth, listen to the live coral music and enjoy arts and activities at the craft tent.

Registration requested but not required, and entry is free, with snacks, drinks and S’mores kits available for purchase.

Now in our 8th year, Festive Fridays are a tradition of the Downtown Columbia holiday season.
