Inaugural Festival at the Farm | Founders' Dinner

We are excited to announce the inaugural University of Arizona Festival at the Campus Farm. We will be having a Founders' winemakers dinner the evening before the festival to honor the Arizona wine industries forefathers. The proceeds from the will go to creating the Arizona Wine Research Library at the University of Arizona.

Reception begins at 6:00 p.m. featuring wineries from the Sonoita AVA and the Dinner starts at 7:00 p.m.

Festival at the Farm

The Festival celebrates the best in Arizona’s four wine growing regions. More than 20 wineries will be pouring over 100 wines. The festival offers wine tasting and sales by the glass, bottle, and case. Other programming includes music,a small selection of vendors, and an auction on Saturday. Located the University of Arizona Campus Farm, festival hours are 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

You must be 21 on the day of the event to purchase a ticket which includes wine tasting. Persons under the age of 21 are allowed to enter the festival at the discretion of onsite security and AWGA personnel. (The rule of thumb is that if you look anywhere near the age of 21 and could be mistaken as of age but are not, you will not be allowed to the festival)

I do not wish to drink, do I still need to purchase a ticket? 

No, a non-wine tasting admission ticket (designated driver ticket) we encourage designated drivers.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Parking at the event is free. Guests will park in the areas surrounding the event. Please follow parking volunteer’s directions upon entrance onto the property. Taxi service is also available. Ask your hotel concierge for assistance.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

Arizona Wine Growers Association festivals are basically an adult event. We do not provide entertainment for children, but they are welcome to attend with an adult.

What is the refund policy?

There are no refunds. All Arizona Wine Growers Association events/festivals are rain or shine.

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

Yes, it is acceptable if one guest purchases tickets for a group and they are all under one name. However, it makes it much easier for parties if the names of each individual attendee are identified.

Are dogs allowed at this event?

The Arizona Wine Growers Association does allow dogs in some of its events. However, in the following events dogs are not allowed.

Arizona Wine Growers Association

The Arizona Wine Growers Association (AWGA) serves grape growers and winemakers in Arizona, allying its members for representation, promotion and education. The association strives to advance with integrity the sustainable growth and production of authentic Arizona wines.

The association produces several signature events per year including the Grand Wine Festival & Awards Gala and the Off the Vine Wine Festival in Oro Valley.
