Event Details

WHY GET A PASS? Passes are the least expensive way to see multiple films and to make sure you get into every film you’d like to attend. Passholders have access to the VIP entry and get early access to seating for each film. Passes are only available for purchase leading up to the festival, and will not be sold at the Box Office during the festival.


PASS OPTIONS

SAN FRANCISCO PASS: This grants ONE admission to all 13 programs in San Francisco at both the New People and Castro Theatres, November 6-10, and INCLUDES entry into the Castro Reception. (Become a Festival Sponsor for just another $50! Please visit our sponsorship page for more information.)  

CASTRO PASSThis grants ONE admission to all 4 programs at the Castro Theater in San Francisco on November 9, and INCLUDES entry into the Castro Reception.

PALO ALTO PASSThis grants ONE admission to all 4 programs in Palo Alto at the Aquarius Theater on November 16.

Our 2013 festival showcases over 20 films from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Canada and USA. This year, we celebrate 100 years of Indian Cinema! We honor the strides made by women behind the lens, and examine gender revolutions across South Asia and the Diaspora. We shine a spotlight on stories from Pakistan and onthe voices of South Asian youth.
