About

The Interfaith Council of Thanks-Giving Square, by presenting its 2021 Festival of Thanksgivings, reconnects the community and many of its age groups with the core purpose of the Thanks-Giving Foundation: the attitude and practice of gratitude.

Student Art Exhibit

This 2021 Festival of Thanksgivings offers your students, from Middle School grades 6 to 8, an opportunity to express their own feelings about their lives and times. Students will examine their experiences of the last year in the framework of gratitude. Then, under guidance from their teachers, they will prepare a graphic piece of art that reflects their personal responses.

Dramatic Readings

High School students, grades 9-12, will select a quotation that has meaning for them, and will write a paragraph of 100 words or less to be compiled into two dramatic readings which will be presented live during the Festival events and recorded for later use.

Performing Arts

This event aims to exemplify the American values of gratitude and inclusion, and to present cross-cultural exchanges that enrich the American experience for its residents and society at large. Each event features performances that are representative of the cultures from four areas of the world: Central and Latin America, the Middle East, Africa and South Asia.
