Get ready to experience the richness of the Puerto Rican culture!
Six hours full of fun and entertainment in a family-friendly environment where the audience will be exposed to traditional aspects of the Puerto Rican culture of cuisine, arts & crafts and energy packed music. There will be continuous performances on two stages. A separate Kids Zone with Puerto Rican children’s games, story-telling plus hands-on arts & crafts. New this year is the Interactive/Educational Zone with food and instrument demonstrations with ensembles of folklore music. In the Main Zone, the festival features Salsa bands, a special dance program and even a friendly dance competition. Artisans, both local and directly from Puerto Rico, will showcase their skills and distinctive crafts. As a bonus, returning to the festival from the San Antonio Zoo, is the COQUI, a unique frog native of Puerto Rico.
**One third of the proceeds goes directly to the Hector Mendez Scholarship Fund.
