Description

Elizabeth D. Ferucci, MD, MPH, FACP is a clinical rheumatologist and researcher at the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium in Anchorage, Alaska. She has an affiliate faculty appointment at the University of Washington, Division of Rheumatology. Her primary research interest is the epidemiology of arthritis and autoimmune disease in Alaska Native and American Indian people. Dr. Ferucci received her MD from New York University School of Medicine, and completed her internal medicine residency and rheumatology fellowship at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver. She earned her MPH degree from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in 2007. She has been working at ANTHC since 2003.

Sarah Doaty, MD is a full time clinical rheumatologist at the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) in Anchorage, AK. Dr. Doaty attended medical school and completed internal medicine residency at The George Washington University. After working as a hospitalist at Alaska Providence Medical Center for a year, she completed rheumatology fellowship at UCLA. Dr. Doaty has served on several committees for the American College of Rheumatology, including Government Affairs Committee and serves as a board member for the Coalition of State Rheumatology organizations. She is active in state and federal health policy and patient advocacy. Her interests include development of the rheumatology workforce, access to care among rural populations, and health policy and patient advocacy education for medical trainees.
