Description

The Ferrario Southern Tier Jazz Festival (FSTJF) is a two-day jazz festival in Upstate NY. Beginning on Friday August 17th at the Clemens Center in Elmira, NY from 6:00pm to 9:00pm, the event kicks off with an evening of jazz featuring pianist BRIAN SIMPSON with vocalist SELINA ALBRIGHT. Tickets are $50. Heavy hors d'oeuvres are included.

Continuing into Saturday August 18th we move outdoors to Thorne Street Park in Horseheads, NY from 2:00pm to 7:00pm. Saturday's outdoor show will feature trumpeter CINDY BRADLEY, saxophonist JEFF KASHIWA, festival staple keyboardist MARCUS JOHNSON with special guest saxophonist PHILLIP "DOC" MARTIN, and local favorite TOP SHELF! Saturday's event features lawn seating, food and beverage provided by the EOP CFJP Bistro, and vendors including regional wines. You may bring your own cooler with food and drinks (both alcohol and non-alcohol). Pets and grills are not permitted at this event, please. Tickets are $40.

EARLY BIRD TICKETS! Early Bird Friday tickets are $40, Early Bird Saturday Adult tickets are $30, and Early Bird Saturday Student tickets are $15. From July 1 through the day of the event, Friday tickets are $50, Saturday tickets are $40, Saturday Student tickets are $20, and a Friday-Saturday Combo Deal is $80 (a $10 savings). As always, children 12 and under are FREE.

PLEASE NOTE: Ticket purchases can also be made the day of the event at both venues. For your convenience, online ticket sales are available right up to the start of each day's event.

In its 7th year, the FSTJF is the main fundraiser for the Economic Opportunity Program Inc. of Chemung and Schuyler Counties (EOP). EOP serves over 5000 people annually in the Southern Tier of NY and provides such programs as Head Start, Literacy Volunteers, Summer Feeding for children and adults, afterschool services, and weatherization services. EOP has been working in the community for over 53 years!
