Due to high demand, GYST will be hosting a second "holiday fermentation" workshop! Fermented vegetables are a great (and healthy) accompaniment to any of your holiday salads and side dishes. Join us for this fun pre-holiday fermentation workshop. You'll learn about the world of fermentation as well as discuss vegetables and herbs that work well together for traditional holiday-flavored ferments!
The workshop will culminate in a hands-on experience of basic vegetable fermentation, and all participants will have the opportunity to design, create, and take home their own traditional kraut for later enjoyment.
Workshop fee includes a fermented beverage of your choice (kombucha, wine, beer, coffee, tea) to enjoy throughout the workshop, as well as the materials and produce/herbs needed for you to make and take your fermented vegetable home.
