Love Letter from a Critic, or Notes on the Intersectionality Wars

The Feminist Theory Public Lecture, co-hosted by the Centre for Feminist Research at Goldsmiths, is this year given by Jennifer C. Nash, Associate Professor of African American Studies and Gender & Sexuality Studies at Northwestern University. She is the author of The Black Body in Ecstasy (Duke U Press, 2014) and Black Feminism Reimagined (Duke U Press, 2019), and the editor of the volume Gender: Love (MacMillan, 2016). She has published articles in journals including GLQ, Signs, Feminist Theory, Feminist Studies, and American Quarterly. ​

This lecture also marks the launch of the special section 'Black Sexualities' to be published in the Spring edition of Feminist Theory, co-edited by Jennifer Nash.
