Description
Feminine Leadership & Embodied Empowerment with Beth Wilson
Thursday, June 28th
7–8:30pm
Join Feminist Oasis as we welcome author & coach Beth Wilson to lead a workshop on leadership, enhanced communication and competency strategies that you can apply today in your work, life and business.
Traits traditionally defined as feminine or seen as strengths that women are assumed to innately have — but which we know are present in many people of all genders — can be used as effective leadership tools just as much as skills we see traditionally defined as male or masculine. Interested in exploring a more equitable and collaborative approach to leadership and communication between all genders?
Join us for this 90-minute, hands-on workshop and discussion, and leave with new friends, new respect for your own natural skills and increased knowledge of how to harness them for success in your areas of passion. All genders welcome!
Beth Wilson is the author of "The Recovering Feminist" (as a feminist promoting recovery from structures of domination and oppression — not recovering from feminism). She is a best-selling author whose books have sold over 1.4 million copies and have been translated into 12 languages. Beth also worked for the U.S. Congress and served as a delegate for the U.N. Commission on the Status of Women. She has appeared as a regular guest on The View From the Bay (ABC-7); produced her own #1 Internet radio show, Quantum Leaps; and hosted a popular Bay Area TV show, In the Sisterhood. Beth has spoken to groups all over the world about transformative approaches to personal and professional growth. Learn more at http://bethwilsonlifecoach.com/ and http://recoveringfeministbook.com/.
