Event Information
About this Event
Are you fascinated by turning ideas into tech products?
Do you enjoy hearing startup founders tell their stories?
Teaching yourself to code? Want to change the world through tech?
Then this free online event is for you!
Join us at 12 noon on Wednesday 27 January at the next #FemaleTechFounder event as a panel of female tech founders and co-founders join forces to tell their stories, celebrate successes and share what they're looking forward to next.
Please note: This event is not just for women!
Everyone interested in tech, startups and everything that goes into creating products users love is invited!
The first session of 2021, it kicks off with a Q&A panel discussion on what we want to change this year with Trish Keating, Executive Director, Tech Manchester and Patricia Gestoso, author of Life under lockdown: Report on the impact of COVID-19 on professional women’s unpaid work.
After the opening Q&A comes a lightning talk by an amazing founder and an audience Q&A panel with all speakers at the end. We will also fit in a healthy amount of networking so come ready to mingle!
The event should finish around 1:30pm.
Speakers confirmed so far:
Patricia Keating (@TrishkeatingMcr), Executive Director, Tech Manchester
Patricia Gestoso (@p_gestoso), author of Life under lockdown
Host: Claire-Marie Boggiano (@CMBoggiano), director, Lurig Change Management
We have an interactive question board ready for the social Q&A and social engagement taking place before, during and after the event and we’d like you to send in your questions for our speakers before 5pm on Tuesday 26 January.
We want to hear from any founders worried about the impact the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is having on funding. Anonymous questions are welcome: to send one in simply click on the purple Post Anonymously button at the top of the question board.
We will also be running some quick polls ahead of the event. Please take a moment to vote below, no registration required.
