This is going to be epic! This breakfast event is to provide women-owned technology startups with access to technology, trends, influential startup communities, business resources and insights to help accelerate their growth and innovation.

About Milena Berry

Milena is the Co-Founder and CEO of PowerToFly - the fastest growing global platform connecting women with companies that value work-life integration, female-friendly benefits, equal pay for equal work and environments where they thrive. Milena’s on a mission to partner with top 100 brands to bring them a slew of diversity solutions provided through the PowerToFly platform.

Milena was born in Bulgaria and moved to New York City a week before September 11th to pursue a Masters at ITP NYU. Prior to co-founding PowerToFly, Milena has contributed to numerous startups, and had a blast being the CTO of Avaaz.org where she oversaw the technology to support growth to over 30 million members.

Milena is a frequent commentator on how companies can diversify their teams, especially in tech. Her work for PowerToFly has been recognized in Business Insider and she was named Fast Company’s Most Creative People in Business. Her biggest accomplishments are her four children who constantly push her to rethink what work-life balance means.

About Katherine Zaleski

Katharine Zaleski is the Co-Founder and President of PowerToFly, a platform fueling economic growth through gender parity. PowerToFly elevates women’s careers through community events, free video training, and deep connections to companies building diverse and inclusive Workplaces. Our hiring partners leverage PowerToFly’s platform and services to meet D+I goals while unlocking data insights across our vast network of Fortune 500 companies, fast-growing startups and the millions of women we reach.

Prior to co-founding PowerToFly, Katharine was the Founding Managing Editor of NowThis; the Executive Director of Digital for The WashingtonPost; and the sixth hire and Head of News for The Huffington Post. She writes for major publications, including The New York Times, Fortune, Forbes and Quartz. She has appeared on TODAY, Good Morning America, and was named one of Fast Company’s Most Creative People in Business for providing solutions corporations use to create more gender-diverse hiring pipelines.

Katharine lives in New York with her family where she is a Term Member of the Council of Foreign Relations and a frequent kite-surfer on Long Island and New Jersey’s under-appreciated beaches.
