Description

The National Hellenic Museum and the Indo-American Heritage Museum come together to present a celebration of cultural heritage around the Goddesses of Greek and Indian Mythology, featuring dramatic presentations from both traditions demonstrating how strong women in Greek and Indian mythology model power for women and girls who yearn for empowerment in the new millennium. Come at 1:30pm for snacks and crafts before the event!

This is an all-ages, family friendly event, geared towards tweens and their families.


This program is a part of the Chicago Cultural Alliance's Inherit Chicago. Inherit Chicago is a city wide festival of art, ideas and performance at neighborhood heritage musuems and cultural centers. Head to InheritChicago.org for a full list of events!


Public Transportation: 1 block North- East of UIC-Halsted Blue Line, Bus Lines: 126, 8, 7 & 60 CHECK AHEAD for transit schedules as this is the day of the Marathon and bus lines will change.
