If you are attending tonight's event, please note the directions to the venue
Please enter through the main lobby, 185 Berry St. Lobby 4. Security at that entrance will tell you to walk to the court yard, make a left (where we will have a Lyft sign) and enter the glass double doors of Lobby 2 and take the elevator to the 5th floor. I will have someone manning that door to allow guests to enter.

Testimonies from previous pitch participants
"I moved to the Bay area in August from Cambridge and can honestly say this was, by far, the best event I've attended. I appreciate the opportunity and had a lot of fun pitching tonight. I met some brilliant women that I will continue to connect with in the future. " - Maria Malavenda, Founder of Evvemi
"The chance to pitch in San Francisco on a level playing field, with such high caliber women-led companies and engaged, insightful investors was truly amazing!! I cannot recommend The Expat Woman's Female Founder Pitch event highly enough." - Jenna Gavin, Founder and CEO of Peerdash
“Five months ago I made my very first pitch at a #FFPFF event in San Francisco. Sadly, it was a flop. While my presentation skills were OK, the panel of investors didn’t understand my product and the services we provided. After receiving this valuable feedback from the panel, the next day I called my team together and we re-worked my pitch. Last night, I’m happy to report that I pitched again at the #FFPFF event in Silicon Valley and won! Thank you to The Expat Woman for providing this forum for honing our skills as entrepreneurs. The competition and 3-minute pitch are tough, but well worth it to be able to persevere and learn such an important skill in a supportive environment.” - Erin Michelson, Founder & CEO, Adventure Philanthropist
"I attended and pitched at my first The Expat Woman event last night, and I cannot begin to say how amazing the energy in the room was last night!
I'm fairly new to the startup scene here in San Francisco, but I've been finding that most pitch events are male-centred, with mostly-male panels. So being in this room, surrounded by supportive business-minded Co-Founders was such a nurturing experience! I also met other co-founders who seemed just as excited about working together as I was, which is another different experience in an overly-competitive community.
Thank you Nyna for putting together such a great panel, and attracting such forward-thinking and forward-moving female founders! I am looking forward to being an active member of this growing community." - Tash Jefferies, Founder and CEO of Taza
