Mae Karwowski

is the founder and CEO of Obviously, a technology-driven influencer marketing platform and full-service influencer marketing agency that launched in 2014. With thousands of campaigns under her belt, Mae is an industry expert in building and cultivating influencer communities for brands. Under her leadership, Obviously’s proprietary platform has developed into a a one-stop shop for identifying influencers, scaling campaigns, tracking progress, and measuring success to optimize future campaigns. Obviously is headquartered in New York City, with offices in Los Angeles, Paris, San Francisco, and Sydney; and works with world-class clients such as Google, Sephora, Lyft, and Vanity Fair.

Before founding Obviously, Mae directed social media for Gilt City, part of Gilt Groupe, and oversaw social execution for clients such as Bravo, UGG, and Coca-Cola with the agency 360i. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor's in Philosophy. Mae currently lives in Manhattan and loves anything that has to do with a Corgi.

Cydney (Goldberg) Familian

is a seasoned marketing, branding, and communication executive with more than 17 years of experience. Cydney capitalized on her expertise in founding Brand Story 360 a consultancy focused on helping companies grow their brands and hone their business strategies. Clients have included Comcast NBCUniversal, Braze (formerly Appboy), a Fortune Global 500 pharmaceutical, and a Fortune 500 IT company, as well as startups.

Prior to founding Brand Story 360, Cydney served as an executive at NBCUniversal, where she most recently was responsible for the media company's global technology brand across TV, film and theme parks. With an eye on STEM, Cydney conceived of the idea and played a pivotal role in activating "Pi is Universal" globally across more than 45 Comcast NBCUniversal brands. She also helped launch Comcast NBCUniversal TECHWomen, an organization focused on connecting and supporting female technology talent.

Moran First –  CoFounder Rose Mansion

Morgan First has been producing and marketing large-scale wine events for over a decade. As Founder of Wine Riot, a touring, educational wine festival, she threw over 50 major events in six US cities selling over 150,000 tickets in total. In 2018 First founded and launched Rosé Mansion, an 18,000 sqft wine pop-up on 5th Ave in Manhattan with a capacity of over 5,000 attendees per week. The pop-up is slated to run from July - October of 2018. First was awarded the Inc Magazine 30 Under 30 award and The Emerson Alumni Young Achievement Award and was recently featured in Fast Company and on Good Morning America.

Jasmine Shells

Jasmine is the Co-Founder and CEO of Five to Nine. Five to Nine, is a culture engagement solution to foster an inclusive workplace environment by connecting employees with one another based on communities of interest. The platform streamlines the employee experience into a central platform by enabling HR teams to manage culture-building opportunities and measure real-time feedback.

Jasmine and her company have been featured in TEDx, American Inno, The Chicago Tribune, Refinery29, and Bootstrapping in America. Jasmine is a MBA Candidate at Chicago Booth, graduate of the University of Notre Dame, and loves to salsa dance. In addition to her passion for connecting people, she loves to inspire young professionals to create their own opportunities and take the leap.

Mary Boyagi - Hashtag Hound

 

Mary is the founder of Hashtag Hound, an app that helps bloggers and marketers easily find targeted hashtags and communities on Instagram. Before moving to New York, she was the founder of a social media agency based in Sydney, Australia. Mary is a go-to person for all things Instagram-related, and is always willing to share what she knows. When she's not working on her app, she's taking photos for Broadway actors and hip young fashion brands.

Sama Jashnani,

Moderator

Co- Founder & CEO at DownToDash

SamaJashnani is the marketing whiz behind DownToDash (DTD). She is currently a member of Young Entrepreneurs Council (YEC) and has been featured in popular publications like Forbes, Inc. Magazine and HuffPost. She has previously Co- Founded an e-commerce jewelry company called Jewels by Samaya and has worked with global marketing firm Lowe Lintas and Partners.

Sama also received a full scholarship to study her masters in Marketing & Strategy at Warwick Business School. While at college, Sama also co-founded a social enterprise that helped rural women in India provide home salon services that enabled them to become financially secure.Sama also advices other start-ups and NGO’s on their social media and marketing strategies and hosts entrepreneurship workshops for university students and budding entrepreneurs.

Partners - DownToDash is a mobile app that aims to use technology to foster real connections between people based on what they’re down to do. In a social media world, DTD wants to bring back physical connections where people can post specific plans with the activity, date and time and users can join these plans. Whether is sports, travelling, workouts, movies, grabbing a meal- users can meet individuals or in groups to get social-get active- get going. The app also has events section where users can browse through what’s going on around them. Popular social media apps show ‘stories’ in the moment or after something happens; DTD shows what people are planning in advance so that you can join these plans and do more of what you love.
