Event description


This is our inaugurate event in partnership with H2 Healthub. We will moderate discussions on stage with amazing entrepreneurs who are devoted to improving women´s health. There is also plenty of time set aside for you to mingle and connect with like-minded individuals. Join us for an evening on women´s health to learn from, talk to, and support each other.

FemHealth Sweden is a collective of Swedish life science companies with a focus on female health. We aim to become a community where members and stakeholders can feel empowered from sharing invaluable knowledge, spread awareness, and partner up. This is also where stakeholders easily can find and reach us. We operate on a no-fee networking platform that will be active through events and exclusive LinkedIn groups.

On our panels, we have inspirational speakers working with different aspects of women’s health.

The amazing Mary-Rose Hoja will be the moderator for the event.

Karin Bryder I Invent Medic Sweden- Karin Bryder is the CEO of Invent Medic Sweden / Arcamea. Karin is co-author of the book “Virtuella affärsmodeller: Entreprenörsrisker och belöningar”. Invent Medic is a Swedish company that develops innovative products with the aim of improving women’s health and quality of life. The products are sold under the proprietary brand Arcamea. Invent Medics’ first product Efemia is a medical device against stress urinary incontinence (SUI).

Dan Markusson I Peptonic Medical - Dan Markusson is the COO and a co-founder of Peptonic Medical, an innovative biomedical company that conducts research on and development of pharmaceuticals and medical technology products in the field of women’s health. Peptonic Medical launched VagiVital® in 2018 as an over-the-counter (OTC) self-care product in Sweden. It is a hormone-free product for the treatment of vaginal atrophy and vaginal dryness.

Katarina Woxnerud I MammaMage Hela Kvinnans Klinik - Katarina Woxnerud is a certified naprapath and has been active in training and education for 30 years. She is the founder of the concept MammaMage - strengthening the body from the inside out during and after pregnancy. She has also co-founded the Hela Kvinnans Klinik in Stockholm with focus on women´s health throughout life; childbirth, menopause and retraining after certain illnesses.

Anna Melker I Spit Lab - Dr. Anna Melker is CEO and co-founder of Spit Lab AB, an app focused on helping women with PCOS get pregnant by leveraging data science and artificial intelligence.

Anna Tenstam has been leading as CEO, Ex VP and Chairman in several international companies within the area of pharma, aesthetics/dermatology and medical devices. The main focus for the last 15 years have been to bring up new innovations within the area of women´s health. Anna´s experience covers both public companies as well as start-up ventures which have led to exits with companies such as Medicis, J&J, Galderma and recently Big Foot Medical for a diabetic device, Timesulin.

Thomas Crouzier I Cirqle Biomedical - Thomas Crouzier is the CSO and co-founder of Cirqle Biomedical, an innovative start-up focused on developing a new generation of hormone-free contraceptive for women. He is also the group leader of the ¨Biopolymers for Life¨ research group at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm.

By increasing the own natural defense barrier in women, the Cirqle Biomedical team wants to establish a unique approach to birth control which is minimally invasive, reversible and easy to use.

Alexandra De Wever Treschow (

CEO of Aprovix, a medtech company providing an at-home HPV self-test. Alexandra wants to empower women to take control over their own health.

Sushrut Shastri (

Co-founder of Endometrix, an app designed to get individuals with endometriosis to the right care, faster. Sushrut believes that healthcare should be equal for all and hopes to lift research for under prioritised conditions.

Louise Lindström (

An aspiring health economist with a passion for equity in health care. Louise aims to raise awareness of how costly health inequalities can be for society, and has several years of experience from an NGO working with mental illness among young girls and women.
