Description

It’s time for a celebration to honor the old ways and reconnect with our fellow pagans and local tribes as we welcome the light half of the year. Muscadine asks you to join us on 05/03-05/05 for a three-day, two night camping retreat where we will connect with old friends and new, honor the Gods, and celebrate the ways of the warrior! Join us for this event highlighted by warrior games, a tournament, and warrior-themed workshops. We hope to see you at Fellowship of the Tribes: War Season!

When: Fri 05/03 (gates open 2pm) – Sun 05/05 (12:00pm)

Where: 4847 U.S. Highway 17 North, Washington NC 27889 (NOT the former Whispering Pines site)

Cost: Individuals: Camping (primitive) all-weekend (16 & up: $25/person | under 16-free) | Day pass-$15/person

Group discounts (available through 4/26, only through online prepay): Gold sponsor $160 (includes 8 tickets) | Silver sponsor $120 (includes 6 tickets) | Bronze sponsor $80 (includes 4 tickets) – all group sponsor packs of tickets will include all weekend camping

Vending: Vendor fee $20 | If you plan to vend, please inform us at the front gate or if paying online, select an additional “vendor fee” ticket in addition to your camping or day pass ticket (only 1 vendor fee payment needed per vending site)

Agenda:

TBD – we’re still working on our final agenda, but the weekend will include an opening ritual by the Agnes Hodges Study Group on Fri night, various warrior-themed workshops, warrior games, and a tournament on Sat as well as a raffle and potluck dinner, a Main Ritual by Muscadine on Sat night, and a short closing ritual on Sun.

Accommodations:

• Parking will be available to the immediate left after turning into the driveway, before the check-in tent. Cars cannot be driven to camp sites for unloading-if you require assistance with transporting your camping or vending materials, please see the check-in tent (we will have carts available).
• Lodging options include primitive camping - there are no cabins or lodging; there is only space for tent camping.
• There are no flushing toilets or showers; however there are porta-potties available near to the camping area.• There are no electric hookups except only for medically required devices (i.e., C-PAP machines-please inform us if you will need electric for these as hookups are extremely limited).
• No fires are allowed on the ground at your campsite; however, above ground fire pits ARE permitted.
• Please plan to bring your own food for meals (or restaurants/fast food is available 5 miles away in the town of Washington) on Friday night, Saturday day, and Sunday. We will be having a community potluck on Saturday evening.

• Please wear appropriate footwear at all times as there are sandspurs, weeds, etc... and plan for inclement weather if applicable.

• If you are unable to camp with us, but still wish to attend the festival, you can purchase lodging at any of the surrounding hotels in Washington, NC.

Rules:

• We reserve the right to expel anyone from the festival due to bad attitude, violence, disorderly conduct, or any behavior we deem inappropriate.
• Do not take pictures of anyone without their expressed permission.
• The main/central fire will be utilized for our opening and main rituals as well as community gathering and bardic time during the festival. Please do not cook at this fire. There will also be designated times during the weekend for sacrifice.
• The Central Fire is the designated fire, no other fires are allowed (except over the ground fire pits at your camp site).
• No illegal drugs are allowed on site, if they are discovered in someone's possession or it is believed that an individual is under their influence, it is immediate warrant for expulsion from the festival.
• No pets; exceptions are made only for service animals with appropriate documentation ONLY.
• No firearms are permitted.
• No means no.
• Please don't litter and do clean up your campsite upon departure.
• Please attend to the needs of your children, know where they are, and take responsibility for them. In short, be a parent.
• Park only in the designated parking area. Again, if you need assistance with transporting your camping/vending gear to your site, please see the check-in tent.

• Alcohol and tobacco use is permitted only by those of legal age.
• Please respect people's personal space and belongings
