Fejring af kvinders sundhed: Uformel reception, fredag 12. december

I anledning af Alliancen for Kvinders Sundheds 1 års fødselsdag, og i samarbejde med Alliancen for Global Sundhed, samler vi fortalere for kvinders sundhed for at fejre de seneste milepæle – ikke mindst regeringens nylige beslutning om at afsætte 160 millioner kroner til et nyt forskningscenter for kvinders sundhed i Danmark.

Samtidig ser vi også fremad – mod de fælles udfordringer og markante uligheder i kvinders sundhed på globalt plan. Hvorfor svigter så mange sundhedssystemer stadig kvinder – både i Danmark og i verdens fattigste lande? Og hvad kan vi gøre, sammen, for at ændre det?

Hør indsigter fra førende stemmer som Dr. Henriette Svarre, pioner og frontfigur inden for forskning i kvinders sundhed, medlem af Europa-Parlamentet Stine Bosse, Mandana Koijmann fra Gates Foundation, samt forfatter Louise Dreisig.

On the occasion of the first anniversary of the Alliance for Women’s Health, in collaboration with the Danish Alliance for Global Health, we are convening women’s health champions from near and far to celebrate recent milestones, including not least the recent government decision to allocate DKK 160 million for a new research center on women’s health in Denmark.

As we mark this achievement, we’ll also look ahead - at the shared challenges and striking inequalities in women’s health across the globe. Why do so many health systems still fail women, both in Denmark and in the world’s poorest countries? And what can we do, together, to change that?

Hear insights from leading voices including Dr. Henriette Svarre, a pioneer and leading voice in women’s health research, Member of European Parliament Stine Bosse, Mandana Koijmann from the Gates Foundation, as well as author Louise Dreisig.

Expect bubbles, cake, and candid conversations - and a chance to connect with other advocates passionate about women’s health everywhere.
