Please join Upstate Coaltion for Equality in conjuction with Glow Lyric Theatre on Saturday, May 27, from 12-2 pm, for a family-friendly event that not only brings together members of our organization, but also includes members of like-minded advocacy groups in the Upstate.

Glow Lyric Theatre is a social justice theatre whose mission is to offer diverse representation of both the Upstate's communities, as well as current issues.They will be providing entertainment in the form of actors in character mingling with the crowd, as well as two season tickets to our upcoming Summer Series "Question Authority", which includes HAIR, The Crucible, and The Gondoliers, all shows tackling the issue of the importance of community, diversity, and even protest.

A local food truck will be there with an eclectic assortment of culinary delights. Beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages are also available for purchase. Over delicious food and ice-cold drinks, we'll get to know each other and meet other residents in the Upstate who want to affect positive change in our community.Feel free to extend this invitation to others -- simply copy and paste the event details into a new Facebook post, text, or email!
