Event description

Description

Unleash your inner happiness for a more fulfilling life!

Together we will explore what makes us happy and discover how we can practice happiness as a skill, just like learning a language or how to bake a cake.

Feeling happy does so much more than just making you feel good. Happy you is more productive, more confident and ready to Feel Good and Do more Good in the world!

This one and a half hour training session will help you to start thinking about what you can do to feel happier in your every day life, including looking at different theories behind what makes us happy and creating your individual happiness toolkit.

The training is open to people of all ages; whether you're a parent in need of some time out to think about you, a student panicking about careers, or you just want a bit more fun and positivity in your life!

The ticket price includes:

  • Training from Jen Lowthrop, a Certified Happiness Trainer, including putting together your personal Happiness Toolkit
  • A drink on arrival
  • A donation to The Peak District National Park Foundation
  • Tasty snacks to keep us going through the session
  • A Goody Bag!
  • Early Bird Ticket holders also get a free Passion Planner diary (RRP £30) included in their ticket price

Radio Free Matlock's Feel Good Tunes Networking Party

After the training Radio Free Matlock's Lucie De Lacy will be putting on an evening of Feel Good Tunes for all to enjoy. Grab a cocktail from the bar, meet some new friends and enjoy some feel good songs to help keep that happy spirit alive!

The Peak District National Park Foundation (PDNPF)

The PDNPF is a new charity looking to protect our National Park for everyone to enjoy forever. Their current campaign is to raise £70,000 to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Act of Parliament that led to the Peak District becoming the UK’s first National Park!

Jen, your Happiness Trainer, is the Chair of this new exciting charity and will be donating the first £70 of ticket sales towards their #70kfor70 campaign! So straight away you're doing good for both yourselves and the National Park we live in (or near) by signing up to the training.
