Description

Feeding the Hungry and Getting to Zero Waste

Avenues and PCSN invite you to a screening of “Just Eat It: A Food Waste Story,” followed by a panel discussion of experts with:

Robert Lee, Founder & CEO of Rescuing Leftover Cuisine, an organization that redistributes food to where it is most needed

Michael Ottley, Director of Operations at Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen, the largest emergency food program in New York

Keith Waskowitz, Senior Food Service Director at Avenues, With Flik Hospitality Group, a comprehensive food service company

This program will deepen our understanding of the issues of hunger and food waste, identify ways each family can make a difference through the choices we make every day, and describe how schools can be leaders in solving these complex problems.
