Description

Join us for a 6 hour course for RNs working with neonates and newborns focused on evidence-based practices for feeding skill development in the NICCU. Gain exposure to the latest theories of oral motor development, swallowing safety, and progression of bottle and breast feeding in neonates. This course is also appropriate for occupational therapists working in the NICCU or with NICCU graduates.

Get answers to questions like…
Why does the therapist always use that nipple?!
What causes oral aversion?!
Should we thicken formula and breast milk?!
Can I help manage this baby’s reflux?!
…and much more!!


Approved for 6 hours of continuing education credit for occupational therapists towards California advaced practice in feeding, eating, & swallowing.


Approved for 6 CEU for Registered Nurses.
