Feeding ALL the Hungry and Food Insecure in New York City

This seminar will discuss hunger and food insecurity in New York City, with a focus on individuals and families who are ineligible for federal assistance (SNAP/WIC).

Panelists:

  • Alison Cohen, senior program director, Why Hunger

  • Jenique Jones, director of operations, City Harvest

  • Suzette Ramsundar, M.S.Ed., Associate Director of Campus Life, coordinator, Herbert H. Lehman Center for Student Leadership Development and Campus Information Services student staff, Lehman College

Moderator:

  • Charles Platkin, PhD, JD, MPH, the executive director of the Hunter College NYC Food Policy Center

The Hunter Nutrition Program and the Hunter College Food Policy Center are able to provide 1.5 CPE Credits (Level 2) for this seminar; granted from the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
