890 Dundas St. West - upper level (SMPLFY)


Join JAY from Wall St. Fitness and ALEXANDRIA from NULOVE on December 16th for a special event with a beautiful intention.

We will be gathering together to prepare 150 MEALS to distribute around the downtown core to our local homeless and fellow humans in need.

All of our food is donated by Pumpernickel's Catering and is plant based, high quality, and balanced in nutrition. All of our packaging / utensils are biodegradable to ensure a minimal environmental impact.

Each participant contributes $20.00 - this covers costs of supplies AND goes as your donation to Sistering.

We will also be doing a Winter Clothing Drive on the day of the event. Come by and drop off any of these items : jackets, socks, gloves, hats, scarves, blankets, sweaters and warm pants. We will also be distributing these items as we distribute food. Please drop off these items between 12 PM and 6 PM at 890 Dundas St. West.

Any excess food and winter clothing will be donated to a local shelter - Sistering.

By Dropping winter clothing off for our clothing drive. Drop off at 890 Dundas West on Dec 16th between Noon and 6 Pm!
**We are looking for all winter items: jackets, sweaters, socks, mits, gloves, hats, scarves, boots, blankets, sleeping bags etc...

How the Day will work :

We will be doing all of our food prep and packing at SMPLFY, a brand new, beautiful Mindful Space in Toronto.

We will first start off our Shifts with a group meditation, sound healing, animal flow movement and intro. This will set the collective intention and ground ourselves to be of service. We will then get right to the fun part... FOOD prep / pack. (* dress in active wear attire for the movement portion, appropriate for all levels).

We will have some awesome tunes playing and perhaps some live music to serenade us while we work in an assembly line to get our 150 meals ready by 4:30PM!

We will do our Food Prep / Packing in TWO shifts (12:30 - 2:30 and 2:30 - 4:30). Both will start with a meditation. At the end of each prep shift we will go out to distribute in designated areas.

* All shifts to return any excess food and clothing after distribution.
* All excess will then be distributed to people / families in need and Sistering after final shift.

After ALL shifts are complete, we will have one last Mini Crew go out to distribute the excess collected and prepped. (We will need participants with CARS to help us distribute all the excess, at least 2 - 3 cars).
