Event description

Description

With only 27 collared Red Wolves left in the wild, the American Red Wolf is considered critically endangered. In partnership with the US Fish and Wildlife Service and other organizations across the country, Reflection Riding Arboretum & Nature Center cares for 6 Red Wolves through the federal Species Survival Plan. Our remarkable canine ambassadors teach thousands of Tennesseans per year about the plight of the Red Wolf. We receive no federal funding for our part in the program.

Join Naturalist Taylor every Saturday at 11:45 am to learn about the Red Wolf Species Survival Plan. At 12 noon, the Red Wolf feeding begins promptly after, during which guests can throw meat to the hungry wolves. This event is free for members and included with admission for non-members ($7 - $10). RSVP through Eventbrite so we know you're coming, and then check in as a member when you arrive or pay admission for the day.
