Feed the Community Christmas Program

Join us for a heartwarming and joyful Feed the Community Christmas Program, a day dedicated to blessing families, uplifting spirits, and celebrating the true meaning of the season. Rising Sun Baptist Church is proud to open its doors to the community for an afternoon filled with music, inspiration, delicious food, and fellowship.

We are excited to host this year’s event as we prepare to feed at least 200 community members, offering a warm holiday meal and an experience of love, unity, and hope.

This powerful gathering will feature:

🎤 Special Musical Guests

• Ladies of Praise – an anointed gospel group from Louisa, Virginia, bringing a soul-stirring ministry of praise and worship
• Enrique Sneed & His Gospel Group – Wilmington, NC delivering powerful vocals, uplifting harmonies, and a message of faith that will touch every heart
• Additional local musicians sharing festive and inspirational selections

🕊 Community Leaders & Speakers

Throughout the program, local pastors, community figures, and church leaders will offer words of encouragement, prayer, and inspiration. Their messages will reflect the heart of the season: unity, healing, generosity, and community love.

🍽 A Christmas Meal Shared with Love

This year’s meal is lovingly prepared by Soul Seasoning Sisters Catering, offering a warm, homemade holiday dinner to every guest who walks through the doors.

Dishes include:

• Baked Ziti
• Chicken Alfredo
• Garden Salad
• Rolls, desserts, and more

Our goal is to ensure every family feels welcomed, cared for, and supported during this blessed season.

❤️ How You Can Support

We invite individuals, families, and organizations to donate items toward the meal or contribute financially. Multiple donors may be needed for certain items due to the number of meals being prepared. All donations should be delivered or available for pick-up by December 15th.
