Feed the birds
Overview
What is the best thing to feed birds in your garden? Should you even feed birds? How can you make your garden a natural source of bird food? Get answers to all your questions and learn lots of interesting facts about the feathered friends in your backyard.
This talk will be given by Simon Nichols, a very engaging and knowledgeable bird expert whose camera will be aimed at his own feeders during the talk, so there's guaranteed to be some live action! The event is suitable for adults and children 7 and older.
We hope to inspire you to take part in the Big Garden Bird Watch held from 23-25 January (https://www.rspb.org.uk/whats-happening/big-garden-birdwatch). You just spend an hour watching birds over a cup of tea and help collect data on how birds are doing in the UK.
Attending our talk is free, but if you can make a donation (even if small), it would help Prestwood Nature and Wild Amersham to protect local nature. Once you have booked a ticket you will be sent a Zoom link a day or two before the talk.
This event is organised by Prestwood Nature and by Wild Amersham @ Sustainable Amersham. Both are local community groups that encourage people to explore, protect and restore local nature.
