Event description

Description

Brand new class detailing the ins and outs of tax resolution lien work!

"Lien work" is central to approximately 5 to 10 percent of all IRS Collections representation cases you'll ever work.

What exactly is lien work?

Lien work entails:

  • Withdrawal of filed Notices of Federal Tax Lien (NFTL) from public record.
  • Subordination of the statutory IRS lien to another creditor.
  • Discharge of a specific asset from the statutory tax lien.

Lien work is a specialized sub-niche of tax resolution, and provides ample opportunity to build a highly profitable, boutique tax practice.

In this one-time only workshop, you'll take a deep dive into each of the lien work arenas. You will participate in hands-on case study exercises, based on real life cases, to learn the technical details of these unique cases.

On the second day of this workshop, we will delve into niche marketing strategies to help you attract these unique clients. We will pay particular attention to working with taxpayers that are trying to buy or sell a home, as approximately 2-3 percent of all residential real estate transactions each year involve a tax debtor with a tax lien. We will focus on the referral opportunities available from real estate agents, as well as a few other industries where lien work is common.

Location: Near I-25 & Crossroads Blvd in Loveland, CO.

Transportation: If you are flying in to Denver, and don't want to rent a car, there is a local shuttle service from the airport to Loveland. Their info is here: https://groometransportation.com/denver-airport/
