SBA Programs & Services: Federal resources designed and dedicated to help your business succeed

The United States Small Business Administration (SBA) is a federal agency with a mission to serve and assist entrepreneurs and small businesses throughout the nation and U.S. territories. The SBA offers special programs and services that leverage the resources of the federal government to help small businesses succeed across their business life cycle.

Many of these programs and services are underutilized since they are NOT well known or understood. This workshop will provide an insight and overview of SBA programs and services that are dedicated to help your business start, grow, expand and recover.

Speaker Bio:

Nirav “Nick” Rajpara is an Economic Development Specialist at the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), Washington Metropolitan Area District Office (WMADO). He collaborates with public and private economic development organizations to develop, bolster and support informational initiatives that aid and assist small business and entrepreneurs across the Capital Region. He is the Program Manager for SBA’s Emerging Leaders Initiative, a CEO academy that guides small business leaders on scaling and growing their business. Nick also conducts HUBZone site inspections for certified HUBZone firms in the Capital Region. He holds a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) and a master’s degree in public policy (MPP) from Pepperdine University. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Riverside.
