About this event
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Wyoming District Office and the Wyoming Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) will host a free government contracting workshop in Cheyenne on Nov. 12, 2019. The event will feature an informative workshop followed by matchmaking opportunities with Federal Contracting Officers.
Current and prospective small business owners will have the opportunity to learn how to sell their products and services to the federal government and meet officials responsible for government purchasing. Representatives from the Bureau of Land Management, General Services Administration, U.S. Forest Service, National Park Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture, Veterans Administration, Army and Air National Guards and F.E. Warren Air Force Base are scheduled to attend.
Benefits of attending this event include meeting potential buyers, receiving free resources designed to help small business sell to the federal government and information on the SBA’s 8(a) Program for socially disadvantaged businesses and Hub Zone certifications.
Each year, the federal government spends millions of dollars buying goods and services from Wyoming small businesses. The SBA encourages all Wyoming small business owners interested in selling to the federal government to attend this free event.
