  • Are you a minority or socially disadvantaged business looking to expand your contracting opportunities with the federal government?
  • Is your net worth below $750k (economically disadvantaged)?
  • Have you been in business for at least two years?

If so, you might be missing a huge opportunity to gain access to federal contracts that are set aside for 8(a) Business Development Program. During this presentation, participants will learn how to qualify, apply, and utilize the certification to increase business revenue.

Socially Disadvantaged: (African American, Hispanic Americans; Native Americans (Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, or enrolled members of a Federally or State recognized Indian Tribe); Asian Pacific Americans (persons with origins from Burma, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Brunei, Japan, China (including Hong Kong), Taiwan, Laos, Cambodia (Kampuchea), Vietnam, Korea, The Philippines, U.S. Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands (Republic of Palau), Republic of the Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Guam, Samoa, Macao, Fiji, Tonga, Kiribati, Tuvalu, or Nauru); Subcontinent Asian Americans (persons with origins from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, the Maldives Islands or Nepal) 

Economically Disadvantaged: Net Worth initially under $750K then maintained; Three Year Average Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) under $350K; All assets initially below $6M once in program
