Healthy living is all about making the right choices. Critical to making healthy decisions is having knowledge about the foods you are eating and engaging in activity. Most diets do not work long term and yoyo dieting is a common result and the evening will explore the ‘calorie in’ – ‘calorie out’ equation and what dietary and lifestyle changes can influence your weight loss.

Join us to hear how Chinese herbs can be incorporated into your diet then hear how you can use diet and herbs to help boost your body well being and reduce weight, cholesterol and other conditions (atherosclerosis).

7.15 – 8pm: Dr Karin Elgar: Lose Weight without Calorie Counting

This talk explores the ‘calorie in’ – ‘calorie out’ equation and what dietary and lifestyle changes can affect both the ‘calories in’ and the ‘calories out’ side of the equation without counting calories.Karin has been practicing as a nutritional therapist in the Greater Manchester area since graduating in 2004 from the renowned Institute for Optimum Nutrition, London. She is a member of the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT) and registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), the voluntary regulatory body for complementary therapists which is endorsed by the Department of Health.

Introduction to the 30 day Plan for healthy living and a new healthier you! No calorie counting needed!

David runs Dao Holistic Therapy in Stalybridge and is an experienced practitioner of acupuncture being qualified in acupuncture since 2005. He is a member of the British Acupuncture Council (957907) the leading governing body for acupuncture that ensures all practitioners meet high standards. Acu2you is a licenced premise with Tameside Council for the practice of acupuncture and adheres to high standards of cleanliness and patient safety.
